Privacy Policy

There is very little to say here, because there is very little collected.

1. The Short Version

No accounts. No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. We do not ask who you are and we have no way to link a wallet address to a person. Building a transaction does send us the pair, the size and the address it is for, because the unsigned bytes have to name a recipient; section 6 sets out exactly what the browser extension sends and what it does not.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We collect no names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, and no identity documents. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to build.

We do not use cookies, and we run no analytics or advertising scripts of any kind. You can verify this by opening the page source or your browser's network panel.

3. What Happens Technically

The site is served by a hosting provider that keeps its own request logs, which include IP addresses, in the ordinary course of running a web server. We do not add to those logs and do not use them to profile visitors.

Requests to the chain pass through a proxy on this domain. It uses the requesting IP address only to limit how many calls a single client can make per minute; that counter lives in memory and is not written to storage.

Your browser also talks directly to third parties: a market-data indexer, to find out which pools exist; a block explorer, for links; and a public node, as a fallback if our proxy is unreachable. Those requests reach them with your IP address, and their own policies apply.

4. What Stays In Your Browser

The interface stores two things in your browser's local storage: a cached copy of the book, so the dashboard is not blank while it loads, and a flag remembering that you disconnected your wallet, so it is not reconnected behind your back.

Both stay on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

5. Your Wallet

Connecting a wallet shares your address with the page so it can read your balances and build a transaction. We do not store it. Disconnecting removes it from the interface and revokes the site's permission in wallets that support that.

6. The Browser Extension

The Voxelithic extension for Chrome and Firefox is the same interface in a side panel. This section says exactly what leaves your machine when you use it.

What reaches our server. To price a trade it sends the two tickers and the amount. To build the transaction it also sends the wallet address the trade is for, because the unsigned bytes have to name a recipient. That is the whole of it: a pair, a size and an address. We do not store it, we do not build a profile from it, and there is no account to attach it to.

What does not reach us. Balances and the current block are read by your browser straight from a public node, not through us. The extension contacts no host other than voxelithic.xyz and that node.

What stays on your device. Your settings, the token pair, the slippage limit and the deadline, and the list of swaps you signed, so the extension can later compare what landed against what you were quoted. All of it lives in local extension storage and is never uploaded. Removing the extension removes it.

Your pages. There is no content script. Nothing runs while you browse. Where the browser allows it, the extension speaks to your wallet extension directly and no page is touched at all. Where it does not, it runs one short request inside the tab you already have open, only after you open the extension yourself, and only to ask the wallet there for an address, a network or a signature. No page content is read.

Keys. The extension never sees a private key or a seed phrase. It hands bytes to your wallet and your wallet decides. It cannot send a transaction on its own.

7. On-Chain Data Is Public

Anything you do on chain — a trade, an approval, a balance — is public by design, permanently, to everyone. That is a property of the blockchain, not something we choose, and it is outside our control.

8. If You Email Us

If you write to us, we have your email address and whatever you put in the message, for as long as we keep the correspondence. We do not use it for anything else.

9. Changes

This policy may change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top.
